Complex line for recycling of cables

Intended use

Line is intended for extraction of non-ferrous metals (Cu, Al) and PVC from wastes of electric cables.

Principle of function and components of the line

SMF “Prodecologia” offers efficient solutions for processing of shredded cable waste.
Depending on the material, the line can be equipped with the following equipment:

1. Shredder.
Crushes electric cables with a core diameter 6 - 8 mm to the fraction from 30 to 50 mm.

2. Overbelt magnetic separator PN-A.
Removes ferromagnetic impurities (ferrous metals) from crushed material.

3. Granulator.
Crushes electric cables to fraction from 15 to 20 mm at the first stage and to fraction less than 5 mm at the second stage.

4. Densimetric table.
Provides recovery of the main part of non-ferrous metals by the method of gravity separation.

5. Drum magnetic separator BS.
Provides extraction of small metal particles from the shredded material.

6. Electrostatic (corona) separator EBS.
Extracts electrically conductive components (remainings of non-ferrous metals and conductive rubber) from shredded cable insulation.

7. Triboelectric separator EBS-T.
Separates PVC from shredded cable insulation PVC+PE.

In case when the preliminary removal of large aluminum components is needed, after shredding on the shredder (1), an additional eddy current separator VS is installed.

Complex line for recycling of cables is intended for recovery of non-ferrous metals (Cu, Al) and PVC from scrap electric cables.
